Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

The Short Version

We do not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. FlakeClient runs entirely on your machine. There are no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind.

What We Don't Collect

FlakeClient does not collect or transmit any of the following:

Authentication

When you log in with your Microsoft account, authentication is handled directly through Microsoft's official OAuth flow. Your credentials are sent to Microsoft, never to FlakeClient servers. We have no access to your tokens or session data.

Local Data

All configuration files, mod data, and settings are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your machine unless you choose to share it manually.

Third-Party Services

FlakeClient may connect to third-party servers (such as Minecraft multiplayer servers) at your discretion. These connections are governed by the respective server's privacy policy, not ours.

Open Source

FlakeClient is open-source software. You can verify our privacy practices by reviewing the source code directly on our GitHub repository.

Children's Privacy

FlakeClient does not knowingly collect any data from users of any age. Since no data is collected at all, no parental consent mechanisms are required.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is ever updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Given our zero-data-collection approach, substantive changes are unlikely.

Contact

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, reach out through our official Discord server or open an issue on our GitHub repository.
